ADRÈRE AMELLAL
Adrère Amellal is a sustainable hotel in Siwa Oasis, born of a vision to safeguard centuries-old building techniques from a time when people lived in harmony with nature. Designed by architect-designer India Mahdavi and conjured entirely out of salt, clay, palm and stone, it looks out across the turquoise salt lake and has a palm-shaded, spring-fed swimming pool. Free of electricity, this is a world of candlelight and a million glowing stars, where everything is imbued with the spirit of the desert.

LA MAISON BLEUE
La Maison Bleue is a pastel-hued folly on the shore of the Red Sea in the artist haven of El Gouna, created as a seaside holiday home by antiques collector and interior designer Amr Khalil, entrepreneur Samih Sawiris and architect Olivier Sednaoui. Blending influences from Byzantium to Ancient Greece and early Art Nouveau, the mansion has just thirteen guest suites, a marble-lined pool and a saltwater lagoon, set amid gardens by landscape artist Louis Benech.

OUR FARM
THE AL MOUDIRA FARM is a fifteen-hectare working farm directly adjacent to the hotel, facing the Valley of the Kings. Started in 2022 with the aim of becoming fully self-sustainable, it grows several hundred varieties, from seasonal vegetables to the local hibiscus flower that makes Al Moudira's welcome drink. Depending on the season, up to 80% of the produce served at The Courtyard Restaurant, The Ottoman Hall and Khan al Moudira now comes from the farm.
